A red count appears on any tab with something for you. Badges know the difference between a job and a discovery: the Galley, Voyages, Quests, Fishing License and Boosts count real work waiting and clear only when it's done, while the Shop, Relics and FishDex flag something new and clear as soon as you look. They update live — sit anywhere and watch a dish finish cooking.

Two short rows instead of thirty tabs. The top row keeps where you go most — Fish, Sell, Shop, Quests, Boosts, Skills — beside a button for each group: Activities, Gear, Profile, Collection, World, Compete and More. Groups remember where you left them, and the whole top level fits on a phone screen at once.

Anything other people can change updates while you watch. A tournament board climbs as rivals turn in fish, a World Boss loses health as the server piles on, and your clan, party and community goal all move without you touching a thing.

Pick which server you're in from the header and the leaderboards, tournaments and community goals follow you there — no need to go and find the right channel.

Every rod, boat, bait, pet and charm in Gear and the Shop shows what it actually does — 23 fish/cast · ×2.9 money · ×1.8 weight — instead of leaving you to guess.

Level, a progress bar to the next one, your money, your crystals and your real Discord avatar, all on screen at once. Every catch, sale and claim moves the bar, so you watch a level arrive instead of opening Profile to find out how close you were.

The main gameplay loop. Cast into your current biome, watch for procedural cues, and reel in at the right moment. Catches are influenced by your rod, bait, boat, pet, weather, buffs, and biome. Shinies, event fish, and relics can appear on any cast.

Turn your catch into money. Sell everything at once or pick what to keep. Prices scale with fish rarity and your Haggling skill.

View your current money and Sea Crystal balances.

Weather rotates every 2 hours per biome — clear skies, rain (+30% rare chance), sunny spells (+25% money), fog, storms, and more. Check conditions before you cast.

Track every species you've caught, your personal records, and which shinies you've found. A completionist's dream.

Embark on a real-time expedition with travel legs, interactive encounters, and a climactic boss-fish fight at the end. Loot accumulates along the way — surface to collect, or lose it all if you fall.

Pay an entry fee and descend, all the way to depth 50. Every level multiplies your money and drops real goods on top — fish, bait, Sea Crystals, exotic fish and rare ingredients — with your cargo shown as it accumulates. Every 5th depth throws you a Situation: five hatches, four holding rewards and one empty.

• Surface any time to bank the lot, or press deeper as the bust chance climbs.
• Busting no longer wipes you out — you keep a share of your money and goods, from 10% at first toward 50% as your proficiency grows.
• Dive proficiency — the more you descend over your career, the safer every dive becomes and the more you salvage.
• Dive safer with three bust-reduction charms, several deep-sea pets, and the Diver's Stew, Angler's Deep Feast and Pressure Tonic recipes. The strongest bust pets are only won from Situations.

Turn your catch into ingredient dishes with timed buffs. Learn recipes, cook meals, and apply galley buffs that stack with your other bonuses. Some recipes are unlocked through Community Goals and special achievements.

Accept delivery contracts for fish and dishes. Bounties are tailored to what you can actually produce — only species from biomes you've unlocked and recipes you've learned will appear. Fill them for money, XP, Harbor Tribute, and rank.

A 48-hour cooperative fight that runs every two weeks (Wednesday–Friday UTC). Every cast while the boss is up deals damage equal to your catch weight. Everyone who lands 10+ casts gets a proportional share of the reward pot — recruiting friends always helps.

Every Saturday and Sunday features a rotating weekend event with unique fish, a bonus shop, and special mechanics. Seasonal events (holidays, etc.) run for longer stretches with exclusive rewards and event-only pets.

Three layers of competition running simultaneously:

• /tournament start — Server tournaments: an admin kicks one off, and the heaviest haul by the deadline wins the pot.
• /tournament global — Global daily & weekly tournaments where every cast contributes weight automatically. Top 10 win prizes.
• Server Showdown — A weekly server-vs-server competition. Your server's total weight divided by the square root of its participants is the score, so small servers can genuinely compete. Winners get +5% money & XP for the next week.

Browse and purchase rods, boats, bait, charms, and pets. Each tier unlocks better stats and new mechanics.

Each rod has a rarity multiplier and special perks. Rods develop affinity with biomes the more you use them there.

Boats boost money, XP, and fish weight. Better boats also reduce cooldown between casts.

Bait is consumed on each cast and boosts specific stats — rare chance, money, XP, or quantity. Stock up at the shop.

Unlocked at level 20. Charms provide passive bonuses — stack up to your charm slots for a custom loadout.

Pick a companion that tags along on every cast. Pets grant unique bonuses and some are exclusive to seasonal events or achievements.

Seven biomes to explore, from the starting Ocean all the way to the Arctic Abyss (level 95). Each biome has unique fish species, higher value multipliers, and longer cooldowns.

Spend money on permanent skills that carry through prestige: Sharp Hooks (rare chance), Wide Nets (extra fish), Haggling (sale price), Treasure Sense (chest chance), Lockpicking (chest loot), Bait Thrift (bait saving), and Quick Cast (cooldown reduction). Each has multiple levels.

View anyone's profile — level, prestige tier, clan, badges, active pet, and lifetime stats at a glance.

Detailed fishing statistics: total casts, fish caught by rarity, money earned, biggest catch, and more.

See every buff affecting your casts — gear, skills, weather, boosts, clan buffs, rested tides, and event bonuses all in one view.

Fresh objectives every day and week: catch X fish, earn Y money, dive to depth Z. Completing quests grants bonus money, XP, and sometimes Sea Crystals.

Claim a free reward once per day. Streaks increase the payout.

A free 10-tier monthly reward track. Earn License XP from casts, daily claims, and quest completions. Tier 10 grants the Licensed badge. Resets every calendar month.

At level 100, prestige to reset your progress in exchange for permanent money and XP multipliers, a prestige badge (tiers I–X), and unlockable embed colors. Your FishDex and seasonal pets survive the reset. Ten tiers in all.

• Prestige Trials — from Prestige 2 onward, level 100 isn't enough on its own. Each tier adds an escalating checklist: FishDex species, Bounty Rep earned this prestige, voyages, legendaries, shinies, Galley dishes, Deep Dive depth, and full biome FishDexes.
• Every journey is longer than the last — XP requirements grow each tier, so your permanent multiplier doesn't make re-leveling trivial. Your first prestige is untouched.
• Browse the whole ladder before committing: each tier's multipliers, the badge and card accent it unlocks, and live progress on every Trial from wherever you stand today.

Spend Sea Crystals on timed boosts — XP, money, rare fish, cooldown reduction — or hire a crew that fishes alongside you. Boosts stack duration (capped at 24 hours).

While you're offline, you accumulate rested charges (1 every 2 minutes, up to 200). Each charge grants +50% XP on your next cast, helping casual players keep pace.

Earn badges for milestones — total casts, rare catches, prestige tiers, licensed months, and more. Displayed on your profile for all to see.

Relics are unique, procedurally generated collectibles that drop from any cast. Each has a tier (Common to Mythic), a material, an object, and an epithet — no two are alike. Inspect any relic to see its lore, precise drop rate, and lifetime cast number found on. Once caught, it's yours alone, forever.

Create or join a clan. Clan members share XP toward a clan level that grants passive buffs for everyone. Clan officers can summon raid bosses at chosen difficulties for big group payouts.

Every clan gets its own private war room — a thread only the clan can see. Summon a raid and the call to arms lands there; when the boss goes down, so does the payout. Your clan hears about the fight instead of the whole server, and existing clans get one automatically on their next summon.

Fund shared rooms together — each grants a clan-wide buff that grows with its level: Tackle Workshop (rare chance), Treasury (money), Scholars' Archive (XP), Galley Hall (fish weight), and Voyage Dock (exotic chance).

Start or join a live fishing party in your server. A synergy buff scales with how many members are actively casting. A shared pot — minted from everyone's casts — splits equally at the end. Up to 5 parties can run simultaneously per server.

Every server gets a weekly cooperative target (catch weight, money earned, etc.) that scales with active players. Hit the target and every qualifying contributor earns a reward pot, Sea Crystals, Harbor Tribute, and unique Galley recipes. Top contributors earn the Tidewarden's Seal.

Get your own private fishing thread — a clean, personal space to cast without cluttering public channels. Servers that have run setup hand one to every angler.

In servers that never ran setup, OceanBite speaks up only for the genuinely rare: a one-of-one relic surfacing, a World Boss appearing, a tournament finishing, a community goal met. Tap Cast your first line and you get your own fishing thread on the spot.

• At most a few a day, never an @everyone, never pinned.
• Any admin can switch them off for good with one tap.
• Servers that have run setup are unaffected — the full activity feed carries on as before.
